J2EE

Java 2 Enterprise Edition (Java 2EE) is Sun Microsystem's primary development platform for server-side enterprise application development. It includes Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB), Java Server Pages (JSP), Servlets, Java Database Connectivity (JDBC), Java Naming Directory Interface (JNDI), as well as specification and connection API for interfacing/integrating with XML, CORBA, CORBA Component Model (CCM). Other topics include Enterprise or J2EE Design Patterns, J2EE integration with Legacy and middleware ERPs (i.e., SAP R/3). With its efficiency and flexibility, it is becoming the defacto development environment, over Microsoft's .NET and other related platforms.
